Juliette Valin

Director of Club Sales

Hailing form Sudbury, Massachusetts, Juliette graduated with a degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She moved to Florida in 2005. Her background prior to joining the Club included work at Raytheon Company in Goleta, California with their Financial Management Development Program. She then switched her focus to sales and worked at Foley Motorsports in Shrewsbury Mass. as the East Coast Wholesale Manager and as National Sales Manager for PCA Security where she travelled throughout the country.

Juliette moved to Florida in 2005 and since joining the Club in 2009 has worked in several different roles. She started in Golf retail operations, moved to the Purchasing Manager position and finally returned her focus to sales as the Director of Club Sales in March of 2012.

Dan Wade

Member Events Manager

Dan has been in the industry for over 25 years. While working in places such as Martha’s Vineyard, Highlands NC. and Cambridge MA, Dan studied Marketing at Mars Hill College. After got his degree he moved to Boston, where his passion for food and people continued to grow. While living in Boston, Dan began his work as a grill cook and gained over 10 years of culinary experience before ving to the “front of the house”.

In 2006 Dan moved to Florida where he became the Banquet Manager for The Longboat Key Club. With Dan’s extensive experience and his creative eye he has now grown into the position of the Member Event Manager at the Club.

Dan is a creative and results-proven events management professional offering years of experience. Dan has planned and worked events for past Presidents and dignitaries as well as countless Celebrities. Dan thrives in dynamic high pressure environments and is an expert at planning any type of event or wedding, establishing budgets, reviewing locations and choosing the perfect venue. Dan’s passion for people and the desire to create memories that last a lifetime is why he is the perfect fit for Longboat Key Club.

Laura Szajewski

Membership Coordinator

Our newest addition to the membership team and originally from New Jersey, Laura has resided in Florida for over twenty years. She graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She started her career designing and building computer systems for Prudential and AT&T. After a lengthy sabbatical to raise her son, Laura rejoined the workforce in sales. Working for companies such as Macys, Nutro Pet Foods, and Russell Stover Candies, Laura gained a reputation for her outgoing personality and excellence in customer service. Recently, she was the Assistant Store Manager for Kilwins at St. Armands Circle. Laura was an avid volunteer at the Out-Of-Door Academy, where her son attended for twelve years. She loves to watch sports and has a passion for animals.

Kelly Connelly

Membership Assistant

Kelly Connelly recently joined the Membership staff. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, she taught pre-school for three years and supervised the ISP program for nine years while raising three wonderful children. She developed a passion for customer service while working for Bath & Body Works for seven years. Beginning as a sales associate she quickly advanced, after only two years, to Store Manager. Kelly and her husband of 34 years recently moved to Bradenton from Raleigh, North Carolina and are enjoying living close to the Gulf and soaking in the sunshine every weekend at the beach. She is an avid sports fan, loves to listen to sports talk radio, and can definitely discuss almost every sport with whomever comes into the office.

Pam Converse

Member Accountant

Pam has been an accounting associate with LBKC for three years working in various positions associated with Food and Beverage, Group and Member accounting. She joined us from The Colony where she was the Assistant Food & Beverage Director. Prior to The Colony she owned and operated her own inn, the Merrill Magee House in the Adirondacks, NY.
